The mighty Cut Copy recently returned with third album Zonoscope and now drop one of the highlights, the mesmerising "Need You Now", with a trio of hot remixes in tow. Detroit's favourite son Carl Craig typically works up a masterpiece that roughly follows the chord structure of the CC original but otherwise goes off on its own, immaculately structured direction. DFA's resident synth-nabob Gavin Russom also plays a blinder by tempering the chest-beating euphoria of the original by wrapping the vocals around a disco/half-step beat fleshed out with fluttering Krautrock synths. Architecture In Helsinki take the prize for originality though - completely transforming the song into a slow Richard Hawley-meets-Roy Orbison-meets-Leonard Cohen swoon-fest. Random as hell, but trust us, it works.

For almost 10 years, Swedish trance mastermind Jezper Söderlund, better known as Airbase, has made a significant contribution to the worldwide EDM scene. His tracks are played by all of the best-known DJs, such as DJ Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten to name but a few.

During this period, he has released numerous hits, but they have never lead to an artist album. Until now!! Jezper describes his new album as Two years of hard work filtered down to over 70 minutes of the very essence of what music means to me. It wasn't until now that I felt I had what it took to make it work!

Airbases debut album We Might Fall is scheduled for release on Dutch record label Intuition Recordings on 18 February 2011. The album features 11 tracks and combines a spectrum of styles from ambient to the distinctive trance that Airbase has built his reputation on. Furthermore, Airbase initiated album co-ops with remember him? Empyreal Sun and vocalists Floria Ambra and Ilana.

You would expect all of the tracks on the album to be straight up, melodic, hands-in-the-air trance tracks. However, although Jezper has clearly stayed true to his sound, this album has also seen him step out of his comfort zone to try some new things. The result of this is an album that quite accurately demonstrates Jezpers current musical mindset. As he says himself: I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Our thoughts exactly.

Tiësto & Mark Knight feat Dino 'Beautiful World' combines the outstanding talents of 2 of dance music's most influential artists with the vocals of Dino Lenny, creating a fervent and euphoric masterpiece, fully loaded and ready to be fired out on the unsuspecting dance floors.

Widely regarded as the world's biggest DJ/Producer, Tiësto has wowed millions of clubbers with his epic live shows whilst working alongside global superstars such as Nelly Furtado and Goldfrapp . Mark Knight's legacy already ranks him as a leading player in dance music culture with 2010 producing a Grammy nomination for his work on the multi-platinum Black Eyed Peas album 'The End' and collaborations with legendary acts Faithless and Underworld.

Flash-forward to 2011 and these two masters of electronic music have created a colossal crossover classic.

When combined with a truly inspirational music video that follows the compelling story of a proficient, all male cheerleading dance group, known as the 'DAZL Diamond Peewee Boys' recently starring in the BBC 'Wonderland' series, you are left in no doubt that this is a powerful, life affirming anthem that 'If you close your eyes' provides the perfect escape into a 'Beautiful World'.

Jatoma is one of Kompakt's rising stars, and the label deserves kudos for commissioning a diverse set of remixes of one of the tracks from his debut album. The Kenton Slash Demon version is spacey contemporary house at its finest, with dense, shuffling drums complementing the hazy melodies. In a similar, albeit glitchier vein is Dustin Wong's interpretation, while the Lucky Dragons version is all stop-start beats and a focus on the dreamy melodies. Best of all though is the Pom Pom take: in a rare remix outing, the mysterious Berlin act uses droning bass, snapping percussion and insistent piano riffs to turn Jatoma's dreaminess into a future Goth techno classic.

US producer MANIK has released for Ovum, but the What Is Who EP sees him adapt seamlessly to the Poker Flat in-house style. In fact, the tumbling drums, sombre bass and nagging acid line on "Pure Liquid" suggest that MANIK was destined to release on Steve Bug's label. The title track supports this notion, with MANIK again deploying an insidious 303, but this time combining it with the kind of detuned synth riff that wouldn't sound out of place on a Martini Bros release. Finally, "Good4Me" is reminiscent of Martin Landsky's releases, with doubled up claps and jarring tonal stabs sounding like a malfunctioning computer game - further proof that MANIK has found his true home.

After brilliantly re-working Carl Craigs seminal At Les earlier this year Christian Smith, alongside Wehbba, turns his hand to reworking yet another techno classic in Laurent Garniers 1997 cut Flashback for his Tronic imprint. Coming in two versions, a 3am Remix and a Remake, the remixes retain the rousing Reese bassline of the original and the pitch shifted vox which made the track so unforgettable, but employ them in different ways. The 3am Remix teases the bassline out until dropping it full force into the break eliciting a this mix is f*cking brilliant, I LOOOVE IT i will hammer it everywhere LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS comment from the otherwise understated Laurent Garnier enough said! The Remake is truer to the original stylistically. Running the bass from the off, toying with low pass filters and a slow burning build, the 3AM Remix teases the bassline out until dropping it full force into the break.

Eagerly anticipated for months now, Deadmau5 finally drops "Sofi Needs A Ladder" and it proves to be well worth the wait. A beautifully constructed but thrillingly simple intro gives way to a chunky, one-note straddling beat that has the same dynamics and rock-crossover potential as The Prodigy, but with DM's trademark tech-haus sheen. With twisted electroclash vocals riding over the top, it's destined to be a huge tune this autumn. Get in early.
